Intended use

All products sold by American Screening ("we," "us," "the Company") are drug testing and screening supplies intended solely for their labeled intended use by qualified purchasers such as laboratories, clinics, treatment centers, staffing and safety programs, and workplace administrators.

Each device must be used in accordance with its package insert and instructions for use (IFU). Products labeled "Forensic Use Only" may not be used for clinical diagnosis and are restricted to forensic and non-clinical applications.

Screening results are preliminary

Rapid screening devices provide preliminary analytical results only. A more specific alternate chemical method (such as GC-MS or LC-MS/MS) must be used to obtain a confirmed analytical result, particularly when preliminary results are non-negative or when required for clinical, employment, or legal decisions.

Clinical consideration and professional judgment should be applied to any drug-of-abuse test result.

Regulatory status

Where indicated on the product's labeling, devices are FDA 510(k)-cleared and/or CLIA-waived for their stated specimen types and uses. CLIA-waived devices must be run under a current CLIA Certificate of Waiver (or higher) where required. Regulatory status varies by product; always consult the specific device's labeling.

Buyer responsibility

You are responsible for using products in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including CLIA, DOT/SAMHSA program rules where applicable, and any state restrictions on drug testing. You are responsible for proper storage (per labeled temperature ranges), lot and expiration management, and disposal of used devices.

Limitation of liability and indemnification

The Company assumes no liability for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from use of a product other than in accordance with its labeling. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the buyer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the buyer's purchase, handling, or use of any product.
